I’m Myriam, also known as Maysnaps, a maternity photographer based in Les Mureaux with a cosy home studio in Bazemont. Maternity photography is at the heart of my work: I aim to tell the story of this unique moment with images that are both elegant and intimate. As a recipient of the Legacy Photography Award (maternity category), I pay special attention to composition, light and styling so every expectant mother recognises herself in the photographs. My approach is gentle and bespoke. I welcome future mothers to my heated studio, where I offer a curated selection of designer maternity wardrobe — sheer wraps, dresses and bodysuits — chosen to flatter the silhouette and highlight natural curves. The shoot takes place in a calm, supportive atmosphere: I guide you step by step, positioning you with simple, reassuring gestures so you feel comfortable in front of the camera. Most sessions work best around the seventh month, when the bump is well defined while keeping your comfort in mind. I value the time we spend together as much as the final images. After the session I upload a private online gallery so you can choose your favourite shots; I then perform careful retouching to enhance each image while preserving the authenticity and tenderness of the moment. Shooting barefoot, a detail I often include, contributes to the natural and pared-back aesthetic that characterises my work. Working with me means choosing a maternity photographer who combines artistic sensitivity, experience and attentive listening. Whether you prefer pure portraits, more stylised imagery or family photos that include your partner and older children, I adapt to your wishes to create lasting memories. I also offer combined packages (maternity + newborn) to follow your story from pregnancy to the baby’s first days.
