We are Marie & Raphaël, photographers based in Mulhouse with a passion for maternity photography spanning more than ten years. For us, a maternity session is both an intimate and joyful moment: an opportunity to celebrate a changing body and to freeze these precious instants with elegance and tenderness. Our approach focuses on naturalness and authenticity. In the studio, we work with several set-ups and provide a wardrobe to create varied, aesthetic, and bespoke portraits. Outdoors, our lifestyle sessions favor golden light and relaxed walks that free movement: the goal is to capture spontaneous images that truly reflect your relationship and the anticipation of your baby. We generally recommend scheduling the session around the seventh month, when the bump is beautifully round and you still feel comfortable. What sets us apart is our commitment to making people feel at ease. We discuss your wishes, outfits, and possible locations in advance and adapt the pace of the session to your comfort. The studio optionally offers hair and makeup for those who wish it, so you can feel beautiful and serene in front of the camera. During the session we guide gently, favoring natural gestures over rigid poses. We also support families who want to continue the story after the birth: it’s possible to organize a seamless pregnancy → newborn continuity to preserve a coherent, emotion-filled narrative. After the session you will receive an online gallery to choose your images; the final editing respects the color palette and aesthetic you loved.
